This is a fun Halloween craft you can do that will look great right by your door!
What you will need:
- Pumpkin jack o lantern buckets (can find at dollar tree or walmart)
- spray paint
- paint
- Flowers - fake or real - I use fake
- something to weigh down the bottom(sand, stones etc)
- Ribbon
- any accessories you want to add
- Paintbrush or sponge
- glue gun + glue refills - or heavier duty glue works
- Modge Podge
First step:
Gather all your materials - the first step I would recommend doing outside somewhere, maybe lay down some cardboard or something as you are going to be spray painting. Use any color you want, you are going to spray paint your jack-o-lanterns all over - do few quotes so covers completely
Once it dries you can take it inside, and paint in the eyes, nose and mouth
Once completely dried, I recommend using some sort of Modge Podge to prevent from paint chipping and getting ruined.
Next Step:
You are going to assemble your pumpkins, stack them on top of one another, Put something in the bottom pumpkin to weigh it down so it won't tip over easily or blow away.
Once assembled to your liking, use the glue and glue each jack o lantern together, hold down for minute or so, that way it sticks.
Final Step:
Once assembled , the fun part comes with accessorizing. Put flowers in the top lantern and arrange how you like. Attach any ribbons around where the jack-o-lanterns meet to cover the seams. Get creative, add more crafty items to make it more your style and have fun!
